Bagaduce Music – Second Wind Instrument Sale & Swap
Second Wind is Bagaduce Music’s year-end instrument and gear sale/swap, set up for anyone looking to upgrade, start playing, or move an unused instrument along. Proceeds benefit the Bagaduce Music Scholarship Fund, and the event includes an instrument drop-off window, sale hours, a free guided jam, and a community potluck to round out the day. Bagaduce Music – Kongero Workshop & Concert
Bagaduce Music brings Swedish vocal group Kongero to Blue Hill for a hands-on workshop and evening concert, followed by a Scandi dance after-party. The afternoon workshop at Bagaduce Music welcomes all levels to explore Swedish folk singing and harmony, while the evening performance at The Bay School’s Emlen Hall offers rich folk’apella harmonies and storytelling capped by dancing with Bagaduce Spelmanslag. Haystack Open House
Haystack’s Open House is a hands-on way to get through December’s darkness, inviting families into the Fab Lab to see what’s possible when craft meets digital tools. This free, family-friendly event at the Center for Community Programs in Deer Isle includes equipment demos (3D printers and laser cutters), refreshments, festive crafts, and a chance to make LED paper-circuitry pop-up holiday cards that actually light up.
