Deer hits and arrest warrants

Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Brooklin

On 10/13/25 Eric Goldberg, 37, of Brooksville was arrested on Oct. 13 on an active warrant.

Kevin Wignall, 71, of Brooklin struck a deer on Oct. 13 with his vehicle while traveling on the Bay Road. The sheriff’s office did not respond.

A Brooklin resident reported identity theft on Oct. 17.

Blue Hill

Andrea Berry, 41, of Blue Hill was arrested on Oct. 15 on two active arrest warrants.

A well-being check was requested on Oct. 17 at a residence in Blue Hill. The body of a deceased female was discovered. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the case.

Penobscot

Whitney Haskell, 36, of Deer Isle was unable to avoid a deer while driving on Oct. 16 and caused reportable damage to the vehicle.
