American roots musician Eli West brought his distinctive blend of old-time, bluegrass, and country music to coastal Maine for three concerts and a workshop May 15–17, presented by Bagaduce Music.
A Pacific Northwest native, West is a multi-instrumentalist known for creating lush, organic soundscapes informed by his background in design. His music weaves melody, rhythm, and lyrical storytelling into immersive listening experiences, according to a press release from Bagaduce Music. He has collaborated with notable artists including Bill Frisell, Andrew Marlin, John Reischman, and Julie Fowlis.
