On Wednesday, January 14 from 3:30 - 4:30pm, kids of all ages will get to experience the magic of Arctic animal adaptations through an interactive icy experiment with UMaine 4-H at the Blue Hill Public Library. Do you know how our polar friends stay warm on chilly days? Participants will get the answer to this question and more as they get creative and discover how our blubbery friends protect themselves from the cold, and how some animals can waterproof themselves. Coastal Kids Science Series with 4-H is a monthly program where youth can dive deep into the natural wonder of water. This program is free and cosponsored by the Blue Hill Library and the UMaine Cooperative Extension. For more information, contact Youth Services Librarian Claire at claire.malina@bhpl.net or call 374-5515.
