Join the celebration on Sunday, September 28 at 10 am to honor all our local Fire, Police, and EMS providers. Please come in your uniform - all family and friends are welcome. Lunch will be served!

Location: West Brooksville Congregational Church UCC, 1597 Coastal Rd, Brooksville. This is the fourth year that West Brooksville Congregational Church UCC has hosted this celebration. “Our First Responders serve our communities every day of the year – so this special Sunday each year we need to recognize and honor them in thanks for their service” explained Rev. Kim L. Lengert, Pastor.

During the service, members share the impact that these heroes among us have had in their lives. “We need to remember that they are there for us every day – and night – and thank them for it. This is a time that we do thank them, and show them how much they are appreciated and needed.”, added Joyce Leck, Moderator of the Congregation. “We know they are there for us, and we want them to know that we are there for them – and their families - as well”.
