Sludge: A PFAS Uprising @ Alamo Theater

Doing the right thing – cost them everything. “Sludge” tells the stories of farmers who are speaking up about “forever chemicals” poisoning their land, water, and livestock, only to lose everything in the process. This film will be shown for at the Alamo Theater in Bucksport in partnership with the Shaw Institute.

Discussion to follow the film screening.  Panelists include:

  • Mary Yurlina, Agricultural PFAS Specialist, Maine Dept. of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry – PFAS Response Program

  • Mike Pagano, Editor & Producer on the film, Maine resident
