EXPLORING YOUNG ADULT LITERATURE

This colloquy, led by Kendall Chapman, Blue Hill Library’s Communications
Director and Ruth Slaven Teen Services & Outreach Librarian, explores the
increasing popularity of YA literature among adult readers and looks at this
vibrant genre from multiple perspectives. Titles include the The Hunger
Games by Suzanne Collins, the first of a series of popular dystopian
novels, reaching a diverse audience of both teens and adults; the historical
novel Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Melinda Lo, and the graphic
novel Nimona by N.D. Stevenson.
