The markets showcase local youth in 8th grade and younger who bring their talents to life through handmade crafts, baked goods, farm-fresh products, jewelry, and creative services. Each event celebrates creativity, entrepreneurship, and community spirit, giving kids real-world experience in marketing, customer engagement, and small-business operations.
This fall, the market will expand to an event at the Friend Memorial Public Library in Brooklin and young entrepreneurs have been invited to participate in the Holly Berry Fair in Castine on Saturday, December 6th, from 3–7 PM.
All children are welcome to participate, regardless of where they live. Parents are encouraged to register their child’s booth in advance to help organizers plan accordingly. To register, please email youthmarketcastine@gmail.com.
