Saturday Matinee: Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror

  • Blue Hill Public Library (map)

All are welcome to the library for a movie matinee on Saturday, October 18 at 2:30 p.m in the Howard Room. The library will be showing F. W. Murnau's 1922 silent classic, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. Popcorn, tea, and coffee will be available for movie-viewing accompaniment. (No blood, sorry.)

The first film adaptation of Dracula for the screen, Nosferatu follows "Vampire Count Orlok [as he] expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter's wife." -IMDB. Runtime: 1 hour 34 minutes, not rated.

This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, and is free and open to all. If you have any questions, or know how to play the organ accompaniment to this silent classic, contact Olivia at oliviaz@bhpl.net or call the library at 374-5515.
