Sea Shanty Workshop

  • St Brendan's Church (map)

"What do you do with a drunken sailor?" Have them join our Sea Shanty Workshop! This is a brand new adult ed offering for those who love music and sea-faring culture.

We're partnering with Bagaduce Music's Executive Director, Bennett Konesni, to offer a deep dive into sea shanties. This genre of music is a folk tradition of sailors and those who work on the water. You may recognize classics like "Wellerman" and "Drunken Sailor"; get ready to explore more of these enchanting shanties!

This workshop will, of course, involve singing together.
