Kids and Teens ages 10+ are invited to join visiting artists Michael Townsend and Pamela Baron to work on a collaborative art piece and enjoy some pizza in the library's Britton Gallery on Wednesday, October 15 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Having been started by peninsula students earlier in the day, a tape art mural will be "drawn" directly on the walls of the gallery for a remarkable, temporary artwork that responds to the October art exhibit.

Following the workshop, everyone is welcome to join us later for a special art reception from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the library's Howard Room and Britton Gallery. The reception will be followed by a documentary screening of "Secret Mall Apartment," starring Michael Townsend in the library's Pearson Room.
