Organist, conductor, and song-leader George Emlen will lead a traditional hymn sing on Sunday, November 16, from 4 to 5 pm at the Blue Hill Congregation Church, located at 22 Tenney Hill.

Emlen encourages one and all to join him in raising their voices in song, regardless of perceived vocal ability. “Hymns are for everybody,” he says. “There is great satisfaction in singing together, and hymns are one great way to do that.”

Blue Hill Congregational Church pastor Lisa Durkee calls the event an opportunity to “sing loud praises and harmonize with strangers and friends.” Attendees may bring favorite hymn requests to supplement Emlen’s selections.
