Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust as we plant 2,800 trees and shrubs over 9 acres at our Surry Forest property!

We’re looking for detail-oriented volunteers who are interested in getting their hands dirty and supporting the trust with our forest restoration goals! Planting will take place all day in 4-hr time slots. Volunteers do not have to stay the whole day and are welcome to participate as long as they would like. Volunteers are also encouraged to help out multiple days!

We are planning on having two shifts (8AM-12 PM) and (1 PM-5 PM), with an hour break in between.

Snacks, lunch, and drinks will be provided. BHHT will bring all the tools and equipment needed. We ask that volunteers wear close toed shoes, have appropriate clothing for the day, and bring work gloves and plenty of water.

Due to the technicality of this event, RSVP’ing is strongly recommended so we can coordinate with volunteers on days, location, timing, shifts and provide more detailed information in a timely manner.
