This year's theme, HOME, explores a place, a memory, a feeling, or a sense of belonging. Each artist interprets the theme through their own unique perspective, creating a diverse collection of paintings that celebrates the many meanings of home.

For more than 25 years, the Wednesday Painters have gathered each week to create, learn, and encourage one another. Every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, local artists meet as part of Friends in Action at the Moore Community Center as part of their senior activities, bringing watercolors, oils, acrylics, colored pencil, and other media to work side by side in a welcoming and supportive environment. Many members are retired, but artists of all experience levels share ideas, inspiration, and friendship. There is no cost to participate.

Everyone is invited to attend the reception, meet the artists, hear the stories behind the paintings, and celebrate the creativity that has flourished through this remarkable group for over two decades. If you've ever wished for a place to create alongside other artists, you're also invited to join the Wednesday Painters for a morning of painting. New faces are always welcome.
