Celebrate the holidays in style in Stonington beginning on Small Business Saturday, November 29 with a holiday craft fair of local artisans through a “Very Merry Holiday Concert” at the Stonington Opera House December 19. Enjoy the state’s freshest seafood while overlooking the town’s busy fishing harbor at one of our two dockside restaurants, and act as if you are in France by feasting on Christmas lobster in Maine’s lobster capital. From the Main Street display of our tiny Christmas village to community gatherings, craft fairs, sip-n-shops, lobster trap trees and of course our own Santa arriving by fishing boat to the Town pier – there really is no place like Stonington for the holidays.
