An injured eagle, missing persons and an argument over keys
Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the Bucksport Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Blue Hill
On May 13, Deputy Devin Grindle assisted the Bangor Police Department in attempting to locate an individual. The individual was not found.
Deputy Devin Grindle arrested a 38-year-old female on an active warrant on May 13. She was transported to the Hancock County Jail.
Sergeant Travis Frost and a Maine Game Warden assisted an injured eagle found on Ellsworth Road in Blue Hill on May 14. The eagle was transported to a rehabilitation center.
Laurie Allen, 41, of Blue Hill, was issued a summons for operating a vehicle on a suspended license after a traffic stop on May 15.
Sergeant Robert Morang, Deputy Devin Grindle, and a Maine State Police Trooper assisted with a court order in Blue Hill. The action resulted in the removal of children from a residence.
Pamela Tarjan, 71, of Blue Hill, was arrested for criminal mischief on May 17. She was transported to Hancock County Jail without incident.
On May 19, Zachary Welch, 27, of Blue Hill, was arrested for domestic violence assault. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
Bucksport
Officer Matt Schmidt received a complaint about a man driving erratically on May 10.
Katrina Bisheimer, 60, of Bucksport, struck a deer on Town Farm Road on May 10. No injuries were reported.
On May 10, Officer Matt Schmidt helped a “drugged out person walking in the roadway,” according to the police report.
A trespass notice was served on behalf of the Maine State Police on May 10.
A report of an erratic vehicle on River Road was passed on to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office on May 10.
A purse was turned in from the Salsa Shack on May 11. It was later returned to the owner.
A male reported an assault on May 11.
A resident registered as a sex offender on May 11.
Disorderly conduct was reported “at [a] local ball field,” on May 11, according to the report.
Officer Jesse Dow responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on May 12. The car door was open, but there was “nobody around it,” the report said.
Police are investigating an alleged theft of cash on May 12.
Officer Arnanda Loeven responded to an assault report on May 12. No charges were filed.
On May 12, an individual requested a well-being check for “suicidal statements,” the report said.
Jade Chase, 36, of Otis, was summoned for speeding on May 12.
On May 12, Jacob Brain-Busby, 20, of Bucksport, received a citation for speeding.
Sebastian Wentworth, 19, of Surry, was summoned for failure to provide insurance on May 12.
Alec Marquis, 27, of Troy received a citation on May 13 for operating an unregistered vehicle and failing to display a valid inspection sticker.
Patrick Biggin, 31, of Bucksport received a citation for speeding on May 13.
A resident reported damage to their front door on May 13. The incident is under investigation.
Officer Eric Marcel responded to a neighborhood dispute on May 13. The individuals were arguing about keys.
A male and female were found sleeping in the bathroom on May 14.
Jason Chase, 47, of Bucksport, was summonsed for theft on May 14 after being caught on camera.
On May 15, suspicious persons were reported at a property. They were seen knocking on windows but Officer Eric Marcel determined that they worked for a solar company.
A person was found laying in the road on May 15. Officer Trevor Luna found the “distraught” individual and gave him a ride home, the report said.
Officer Dan Harlan was on prom detail on May 16.
Deer Isle
Mark Vallejos, 41, of Deer Isle, was arrested for an active bail revocation warrant on May 19 and transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
Orland
Sergeant Travis Frost assisted the Oxford County Sheriff's Department in locating a missing person on May 13. The individual was found safe and did not need any further assistance.
Sedgwick
Adrian Arbour, 37, of Sedgwick was arrested for operating under the influence following a well-being check on May 12. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
On May 14, Sergeant Travis Frost and Deputy Wyatt Lord responded to a domestic situation at a residence which resulted in disorderly conduct warnings being issued to the two individuals involved.
Deputy Devin Grindle responded to a report of a possible domestic dispute at a residence on May 15. It was determined that no crimes had been committed, and the involved parties were separated.
