‘The Bucks' Wrath’ escorted home after robotics world championship

Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the Bucksport Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Blue Hill

On May 5, Sergeant Robert Morang assisted a resident having mental health issues.

Deputy Wyatt Lord was dispatched to an on-going neighborhood dispute on May 6. As a result of the conflict, a resident of was given a disorderly conduct warning.

Brooksville

Lost property was brought into the Sheriff's Office on May 9. Deputy Mariza Gionfriddo was able to identify who the item belonged to and returned it to the rightful owner.

Bucksport

Sean Davis, 40, of Bucksport was arrested on May 3 for operating after revocation and possession of drugs.

Benjamin Dunham-Kapaldo, 33, of Bucksport received a citation for speeding on May 3.

Rigel Garfield, 38, of Westbrook, received a citation on May 4 after failing to produce evidence of insurance.

On May 4, Jaime Hanscom, 43, of Brewer, received a citation for speeding.

Two males were spotted entering the woods “with possible AR rifles” on May 4. They were actually carrying crossbows.

Officer Chris Sargent escorted the Bucksport High School Robotics Team into town as they returned from the World Competition in Texas on May 4.

On May 4, Alonzo Bergmann, 36, of Bucksport was summoned for operating after suspension.

A male resident reported his belongings thrown away on May 4.

Kaden French, 20, of Trenton, summoned on May 4 for possession of alcohol.

A wallet was turned in to the police department on May 4.

On May 5, a female resident reported the theft of personal items by her ex-boyfriend.

On May 5, Zachary Eaton, 28, of Penobscot, received a citation for failing to produce evidence of insurance.

Amber Kempke, 42, of Bucksport received a citation for failing to produce evidence of insurance on May 6.

Eamon Ames, 16, of Orland, received a citation on May 6 after failing to stop at a stop sign.

Zachary Eaton, 28, of Penobscot was charged with criminal speeding on May 5 while traveling on Route 46.

Officer Robert Findlay responded to a complaint of harassment on social media on May 5.

A purse was found on May 6.

Laura Doak, 43, of Hermon was traveling on Russell Hill Road on May 6 when she swerved into the dirt shoulder and struck a mailbox post and ornamental rock.

A woman brought a wallet she found in the roadway on May 8 to the police station. It was later picked up by the owner.

Deer Isle

Mark Vallejos, 41, of Deer Isle, was arrested on warrant on May 6.

Orland

Corey Main, 50, of Orland, was arrested on warrant on May 8. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.

Sedgwick

Sergeant Robert Morang received a report of two teenagers being threatened on May 8 in Sedgwick. The teenagers and an adult were advised not to contact each other.
