Bagaduce Music hosts vocalist and performer Mia Bertelli

Multi-genre performance is part of the Second Wednesday House Party series

BLUE HILL—Bagaduce Music will host vocalist and performer Mia Bertelli for a concert at 7:00 pm on May 17. The event is part of the Second Wednesday House Party series.

According to a press release, Bertelli is “known for her sensitive delivery and remarkable ability to find the soul of each song she sings.” Her work crosses genres and brings a sense of “unguarded curiosity, playfulness, and vulnerability to every performance,” the release said.

Bertelli’s music is “shaped by a richly diverse background,” the release said, drawing on “world singing traditions, Irish and Appalachian solo balladry, and Scandinavian dance music” for inspiration. Her music demonstrates a “deep love of pop, jazz, and soul” and her performances “move fluidly between styles and emotional textures”. 

For this House Party concert, Bertelli will be joined by collaborators and together they will present a selection of “favorite songs” from across genres, the release said. Audiences can expect “a vibrant [sampling]  of sounds and moods.”  

Bagaduce Music’s Second Wednesday House Party is a monthly midweek gathering that combines live music, food, and community. Bagaduce music seeks to provide each audience with “an affordable opportunity to experience exceptional artists up close,” the release said.

Soups, snacks and chai will be available from 6:00–7:15 pm from Conscious Café in the Performance Hall. Native Gardens of Blue Hill will also be offering “Spring in the Native Garden” trail walks.
