BUCKSPORT—Bucksport High School hosted its annual student art show on April 12, showcasing more than 100 student pieces across a range of media.

The exhibit featured paintings, charcoal drawings, illustrations, pottery, papier-mâché pieces, and even cardboard furniture created in a 2-D design class.

The school’s Jazz Combo performed two sets during the event, adding a live musical element to the evening.

The Rising Tide welcomes poems and other artistic endeavors from our community, and showcases them here in our “Create” section. If you have something you’d like to submit—a poem, a picture of a painting, a photograph, a music recording—send it to info@risingtide.media. We’d love to publish it and give you an audience for your creativity.
