Forest Farm's National Historic Designation Celebration!

Join The Good Life Center for a special celebration, marking the their designation on the National Historic Register of Historic Places. It will feature garden tours, food, music, and speaker: Noel Paul Stookey!

Noel Paul Stookey is a musician, activist, and member of the legendary folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary — long engaged in movements for peace, civil rights, and ecological responsibility- and our keynote speaker for a special afternoon celebrating The Good Life Center's designation on the National Historic Register.

The celebration will feature:
- Documentary of the Nearings shown in the Library
- Meet & Greet with members of The Good Life Center Board
- Children's Activities: Face Painting and Fairy House Building
- Vegetarian snacks provided

Schedule:
12:00 pm: Event start
1:00-3:00 pm: Forest Farm Tours
2:00 pm: Musical entertainment (TBD)
3:00 pm: WERU's Jay Peterson sings songs of Woody Guthrie
3:45 pm: Director and Chair introduce keynote speaker and briefly describe the Nearing Legacy
