Hitchhiker stopped for wearing dark clothing at night

Blue Hill
On Mar. 19, Deputy Wyatt Lord received a theft complaint from a Blue Hill resident.
Sergeant Travis Frost assisted the Ellsworth Police Department in locating a Deer Isle resident in Blue Hill on Mar. 30. A no trespass warning was served without incident.
After receiving a fraud report on Mar. 30, Deputy Devin Grindle spoke with a Blue Hill resident about an internet scam. The incident was documented.
Bucksport
On Mar. 22 Stephen Swensrud, 22, of Bethesda, MD, was traveling north on the Mast Hill Road when he lost control of the vehicle and crossed the center line, landing her in a ditch. Swensrud was uninjured and the vehicle was towed.
Gary Thompson, 54, of Bucksport was traveling south bound on Silver Lake Road on Mar. 22 when he crossed into the opposite lane, went off the road and struck a utility pole. He was arrested for operating under the influence.
On Mar. 23, a female resident reported a male trying to break into an apartment building. Officer Matt Schmidt responded but found no evidence of wrongdoing.
On Mar. 23, Officer Dow issued a warning to an individual who urinated in public.
Deputy Police Chief David Winchester executed an arrest warrant for Sarah Watt, 47, of New Hampshire on Mar. 24.
Officer Trevor Luna issued a citation to Chad Lippincott, 42, of Old Town, on a charge of speeding on River Road on Mar.
On Mar. 24, Taylor Helsley, 23, of Holden, was summoned on a charge of speeding on River Road.
Susan Aygarn, 70, of Orrington, was cited on a charge of speeding on River Road Mar. 24.
Katy Fylstra, 45, of Bucksport, was cited on Mar. 24 for speeding on River Road.
Kyle D. Rose, 40, of Bradley, was charged with speeding on Mar. 24 while driving on River Road.
On Mar. 24, Officer Autumn Bishop responded to a report of a German shepherd running loose on the roadway. A dog was also found running loose on the high school football field on Mar. 25.
Officer Eric Marcel responded to a reported assault at the high school on Mar. 25. No charges were filed.
Xavier York, 23 of Bucksport, was arrested on a warrant on Mar. 25.
After responding to a roadway hazard report, Officer Amanda Loeven found that the traffic light was not working properly.
On Mar. 28, Nicole Nadaeu, 41 of Bucksport, was arrested on a warrant while traveling on Central Street
Houston Mathis, 31, of Belfast, was summoned for operating after suspension March 27 on River Road.
On Mar. 27, Breanna M. Gonzalez, 38, of Glendale, Arizona, was summoned on a charge of operating after suspension.
Margaret Fairbrother, 37, of Penobscot, was summoned on a charge of operating after suspension on Route 1 Mar. 28.

Orland
Sergeant Marcus Downes received a trespassing complaint from a residence in Orland on Mar. 18. An Orland man was issued a trespassing notice.
James Darling, 22, of Bucksport, was issued a criminal summons for operating after suspension following a traffic stop on Mar. 26.
Stonington
On Mar. 13, Deputy Wyatt Lord received a trespassing complaint from a seasonal resident in Stonington. A separate Stonington resident was later issued a trespassing notice.
Deputy Wyatt Lord responded to a civil dispute complaint on Mar. 29.
