Versant impersonator visits Blue Hill resident
Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the Bucksport Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Blue Hill
Travis Martin, 45, of Blue Hill, was arrested for domestic violence, criminal threatening, and violating conditions of release on April 8. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
Deputy Mariza Gionfriddo responded to a report of a suspicious person on Morgan Bay Road on April 10. The caller stated that a young male came to her home claiming to represent Versant Power. He asked personal questions but did not have any identification indicating he worked for the company. Versant later confirmed that no employees were conducting door-to-door visits in that area at that time.
Nichole Bebout, 46, of Blue Hill, was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release on April 12. Nichole was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
Bucksport
On April 5, a vehicle was found abandoned on the side of the road.
William Ballou received a citation on April 5 for failure to register his vehicle and displaying a valid inspection.
A resident requested assistance with ammunition destruction on April 6.
Robert Smith, 49, of Glenburn received a citation for operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone on April 6.
Officer Chris Sargeant responded to a report of suspicious lights flashing at a building site on April 6.
Brandon Huff, 31, of Bangor, was summoned on April 6 for operating after suspension.
Morgan Pelletier, 28, of Surry received a citation for operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone on April 7.
Max Nail, 28, of Blue Hill received a citation for speeding on Mast Hill Road on April 7.
On April 7, a vehicle was reported swerving toward a pedestrian.
Aron Rowe, 36, of Bucksport, was arrested for violating a protection order, possession of a firearm, and refusal to submit to arrest.
On April 8, Aron Rowe, 36, of Bucksport, received a citation for operating after suspension.
Jason Chase, 47 of Bucksport, was arrested on two warrants on April 9.
Casey Odonnell, 41 of Bucksport, was arrested on April 10 for violating a protection order.
On April 10, Joshua Malloy, 30, of Bar Harbor, received a citation for speeding.
Daniel Bernier, 42, of Bucksport, and Stephanie Cassady, 36, of Bucksport were arrested on warrants on April 11.
A port-a-potty was found damaged on April 11. The wind had pushed it over.
Skylar DaSilva, 18, of Winterport, was issued a citation on April 11 for operating an unregistered vehicle, according to a police report.
Deer Isle
Deputy Mariza Gionfriddo conducted a wellbeing check on April 3 and determined that the elderly female resident was all set.
Thomas Thompson, 21, of Deer Isle, was arrested on an active arrest warrant on April 11. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
Orland
After a reported domestic disturbance on March 28, Ashley Carter, 38, of Brewer, was arrested for three counts of Violating Conditions of Release.
Penobscot
An elderly woman experiencing mental health issues was voluntarily brought to the hospital for a medical evaluation on April 8.
Surry
Shannon Bebout, 49, of Blue Hill, was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release on April 12. She was transported to the Hancock County Jail without incident.
