False plates, suspended license

Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the Bucksport Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Blue Hill

Bethany Dimmock, 24, of Ellsworth, was arrested for operating after suspension on July 20.

Brooksville

Deputies assisted the Maine Coast Guard by making contact with an individual who used to live in Brooksville on July 21.

Castine

Gavin Peck, 20, of West Port Island, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on July 14.

Deer Isle

Deputy Mariza Gionfriddo responded to a verbal domestic dispute on July 13. After speaking with both parties, the male involved left for the evening. Both individuals were issued disorderly conduct warnings.

Anthony Barbato, 41, of Blue Hill, was summonsed for attaching false plates on July 15.

Penobscot

Deputy Mariza Gionfriddo responded to a call about a person experiencing a mental crisis in Penobscot on July 13. Gionfriddo met with the individual and his family and all parties agreed a mental health evaluation would be best.

A male was issued a trespassing notice on July 21.

Stonington

Jasmine Stevens, 37, of Surry, was summonsed for failure to register a vehicle and violation of conditions of release on July 13.

Surry

Christopher Ryder, 37, of Surry, was summonsed for operating after suspension on July 20.
