Four deer, one bench cause car accidents

Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Sedgwick

Deborah Ludlow, 64, of Brooksville was unable to avoid hitting a metal bench in the roadway on Nov. 5 causing damage to the front of the vehicle.

Penobscot

Jane Leach, 93, of Penobscot was unable to avoid a deer on Nov. 4 causing front end damage.

Nichole Ladd, 42, of Penobscot was unable to avoid a deer that ran into the roadway on Nov. 5 causing damage to the front of her vehicle.

Blue Hill

Bradley Lowell, 68, of Gouldsboro was unable to avoid a deer in the roadway on Nov. 4 causing damage to the vehicle

Anne Schroth, 61, of Sedgwick was unable to avoid a deer that ran into the roadway on Nov. 6 causing damage and the vehicle needing to be towed.

Stonington

Cody Hendrixson, 20, of Stonington was arrested on Nov. 6 on an active arrest warrant and was also charged with Refusing to Submit to Arrest, Class E. He was transported to Hancock County Jail.

Joshua Hendrixson, 36, of Stonington was arrested and charged with Hindering Apprehension, Class D and Refusing to Submit to Arrest, Class D. Joshua was transported to the Blue Hill Hospital before being transported to Hancock County Jail.
