Underage drinking party busted in Penobscot

Arrest and incident reports are collected from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies. Arrests are not convictions, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Penobscot

Hancock County Sheriff deputies received a complaint on Nov. 10 for an underage drinking party in Penobscot. After further investigation, Phillip Sykes, 20 of Bangor was arrested for furnishing alcohol to minors. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail. The following subjects at the residence were issued summons for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor by consumption.

  • Benjamin Ranslow, 20, of Guildford.

  • Haley Doyon, 19, Transient.

  • Soren Buzby, 18, of Winterport.

  • Autumn France, 19, of Indian Island.

  • Nicholas Roos, 19, of Bar Harbor.

  • Terner Hartley, 18, of Holden.

  • Owen Riitano, 18, of Sangerville.

  • Christian Jamieson, 18, of Bangor.

  • Zane McCarthy, 18, of Bangor.

  • Jaidin Hicks, 18, of Ellsworth.

  • Lindsey Lancaster, 19, of Levant.

  • Mason Reed, 18, of Southwest Harbor.

Three juveniles were also issued juvenile summons and released to their legal guardians. Three sheriff’s deputies were assisted by Maine State Police at the scene.

Castine

Hancock County Sheriff’s Office served paperwork to a Castine resident on Nov. 13 for the Bath Police Department.

Blue Hill

A single vehicle crash with three minor occupants was reported on Nov. 14, all three minors were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Read additional coverage here.

Deer Isle

Matthew Eaton, 52, of Deer Isle was arrested on Nov. 17 for an active arrest warrant. He was transported to the Hancock County Jail.
