3rd Annual Rockbound Chapel Contra dance is coming! Back by popular demand at the beautiful chapel. Join the BAMU Band & friends (former members of the Bagaduce Northern New England Ensemble) as they delight your senses and make you put on your dancing shoes for a night of community dancing.

BAMU is a multi-instrumental band playing traditional fiddle tunes, some with a new attitude. The band members are all from the local area and include fiddle, banjo, mandolin, piano, guitar, concertina, bodhran for your dancing or listening enjoyment.

Bring your instrument as there will be an All-comer’s band from 6-7p and early dancing then BAMU will play from 7-9p. No experience is needed as the Caller, Alice Slater will guide you in each dance step. Bring the family, friends and neighbors for the quintessential Maine dance experience.

Suggested Donation at the door is $20. Part of the proceeds will go to the maintenance of the Rockbound Chapel, 733 Reach Rd, Brooklin.
