Friend Memorial Public Library in Brooklin (1 Reach Road) will be holding an author talk with Ann Packer and Ayelet Waldman on Tuesday 8/25 from 4 to 5 p.m. Packer is a bestselling author whose latest novel, "Some Bright Nowhere," was chosen for Oprah's Book Club last year.
