The Blue Hill Public Library will present a reading with authors from the anthology Echoes in the Fog: Literary Reflections on the Liminal Spaces of Maine’s Coast, on Thursday, August 20 at 7:00 p.m. This collection gathers 58 poets, essayists, storytellers, and photographers, and 11 of those contributors will be sharing their work. The contributed works explore the mystery and beauty of Maine’s coast from island harbors to fog-draped peninsulas. A portion of every sale supports the Maine Coast Heritage Trust, preserving the coast that inspired these reflections. This event is free and open to all. For more information, contact Assistant Director Kayleigh Thomas at kayleigh.thomas@bhpl.net or 374-5515.
