Did you know that the tiniest piece of algae can completely change the life of a full-grown shark? The critters at the bottom of our food chain are vital to the health of all animals in an ecosystem. In this workshop, youth will get the chance to design their own trophic level art, combining science with creativity! You can join Leah from UMaine from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 17 at the Blue Hill Library for this crafty hour of fun! Coastal Kids Science Series with 4-H is a monthly program where youth can dive deep into the natural wonder of water. This program is free and cosponsored by the library and the UMaine Cooperative Extension. For more information, contact Youth Services Librarian Claire at claire.malina@bhpl.net or call 374-5515.
