The Blue Hill Public Library will present an author event with Jeanne Bartlett for her book A Voice Downstream on Monday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m.  A Voice Downstream collects Jeanne Bartlett's life work of poetry and prose, exploring nature, kinship, aging, loss, writing itself, and often the place these occupy within the larger world. Jennifer Militello, Poet Laureate of New Hampshire says “This is a book bursting at the seams with vivid pieces, all strung like bluebirds along the summer clothesline of this wonderful collection.” This program is free and open to all.
