Kids of all ages are invited to play chess at the Blue Hill Public Library on Thursday June 4 at 3:30 p.m. This will be the last meeting of the Youth Chess Club before summer break. Chess enthusiasts Tom Batt and Woody Petry will be on hand to teach beginners how to play chess and offer tips on chess strategy, while more experienced players can jump right in and play. Participants of all experience levels are welcome. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event sponsored by the library, made possible by the Friends of the Library.
