H.O.M.E., Inc. warmly invites the community to a fall gathering, "Voices by the Fire," on Friday, October 9th at its Orland campus (parking available on-site). This free, family-friendly event celebrates creativity, community, and the changing season with a cozy evening of activities, treats, and togetherness.

Trunk or Treat kicks off the festivities in the Gift Shop parking lot from 4:00 – 5:30 PM, offering a safe and festive way for children to enjoy Halloween fun. At 5:30 PM, the Open Mic begins, welcoming voices of all ages to share music, poetry, and stories. Whether you're a seasoned performer or a first-time speaker, this is a space to be heard and celebrated. As the sun sets, the bonfire will be lit (weather permitting), creating a warm and inviting space for connection and reflection under the autumn sky. Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy s’mores by the fire, hot cider and hot chocolate, pumpkin painting and carving, face painting, a bake sale, and handcrafted mugs for sale from H.O.M.E.’s own pottery studio!
