Paul Sullivan Concert
Join us on the evening of August 5, at 5pm for our 4th annual fundraising event with Grammy Award winning pianist, composer, and beloved Sedgwick neighbor, Paul Sullivan. Paul will play long time favorites, share a few stories, and entertain us with a few surprises along the way. Main Street will be closed for the evening as neighbors, friends, and families spread out on the lawn for an night of music and community. Proceeds support the upkeep of our historic library building. Bring a chair, a friend and some bug spray and enjoy an evening of entertainment on the lawn. Please leave your pets at home.
Note: Handicap drop off is available on Main Street

Rhythm Dance Studio Open House
In Rhythm Dance Studio, owned and operated by Audra Eaton, will offer instruction in tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and ballet. Classes are designed for dancers of all ages and abilities, from beginners taking their very first class to experienced dancers looking to continue their training in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Daniel Squadron Speaks in Sedgwick
Daniel Squadron, co-founder of The States Project, will speak in Sedgwick about his book The Fourth Branch, described as “part handbook, part history, and part personal narrative” on the power of state legislatures. Squadron will appear as a guest of Grassroots Giving, a giving circle supporting The States Project, at a Monday afternoon gathering hosted by Jill Knowles and Paul Sullivan. Sargentville Thursday Club's Annual Quilt Raffle
For nearly 40 years the Sargentville Thursday Club has awarded scholarships for local youth seeking a college degree or trade certificate/licensure. We annually offer two stunning, handmade quilts for raffle. See the quilts in all their glory at the Blue Hill Public Library, where you can also buy raffle tickets for $5 each or 3 tickets for $10. The drawing will be held at our Annual Sale and Silent Auction at 11:30 am on 7/25/26 at the Sedgwick Elementary School Gym. Good luck!
Sargentville Thursday Club's Annual Sale and Silent Auction
For nearly 40 years, the Sargentville Thursday Club has provided scholarships to local youth seeking A college degree or trade certificate/licensure. We annually host an amazing sale and Silent auction to raise money to support local libraries, schools, and kids. Join us to find bargains and treasures galore: housewares and handcrafted items, gift certificates, books, jewelry, baked goods, quilt raffle and silent auction featuring donations from generous local vendors. We're also accepting donations for the sale at the venue on Friday, July 24th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Empty your closets, garages, and sheds, and drop it off with us. Your donations are very much appreciated.
Beekeeping 101
John Cousins from Bridge Road Apiary, will give a presentation on bees and beekeeping. He is a member of the Maine State Bee Keepers Association. His talk will include the hierarchy of the hive and the necessary supplies needed for successful beekeeping. Q&A will follow.
