Got a story about the Blue Hill area? Let’s preserve it!

Word, Blue Hill’s Oct. 22-25 literary arts festival, is collaborating with Maine Sound + Story, an effort to preserve the history, memory, and stories of Maine through sound, images, and oral history. Blue Hill Peninsula residents can sign up now for free 15-20-minute interviews with Galen Koch, an audio producer, educator, and sound artist who co-founded MS+S.The interviews will take place in Blue Hill village between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.

The stories will be archived at mainesoundandstory.com.
