Join Blue Hill Heritage Trust as we prepare for a wreath making event in partnership with the Blue Hill Public Library! We will meet at the BHHT barn in Meadowbrook Forest - Surry Entrance on Jill’s Lane. The barn is located near Chickadee Compost. Outreach staff members will give a brief talk about the history of tipping and wreath making in Maine. Then, we will head into the woods to collect balsam fir boughs.

*Weather Note: We will meet rain or shine!! We recommend that volunteers bring/wear water, work gloves, warm clothes, and sturdy boots or closed-toed shoes (the terrain will be wet with woody debris).

Gloves, hand clippers, loppers and a warm beverage will be provided.

This event is for people of all ages. Registration and RSVP are not required.
