Fantastic Fungi (2019) is a descriptive time-lapse journey about the magical, mysterious and medicinal world of fungi and their power to heal, sustain and contribute to the regeneration of life on Earth that began 3.5 billion years ago.

Combine the magic of mushrooms with close observation in this two-hour introduction to nature journaling. We will be taking a deep look at the amazing variety of mushrooms growing in our backyards.

There will be a few exercises to get our observation skills ramped up, then we will create a nature journal page for you to keep. We will have toned, or colored paper, as well as white paper on hand, and provide tips for using both.

(Judge of Probate candidate) will discuss how the legal and criminal justice systems function and share their goals and priorities should they be elected.

The 80 voice Bagaduce Chorale will be performing Sir Carl Jenkins’  magnum opus “The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace”, under the direction of Bronwyn Kortge. This epic work uses diverse text to chronicle a descent into war, the horror of conflict, the desolate aftermath, and finally a tentative movement toward peace. First composed and dedicated to the victims of Kosovo, this will be the first time that “The Armed Man” is presented in Maine with the accompanying film, commissioned by Sir Karl Jenkins. The work is notable for its powerful, accessible melodies, and rich blend of musical genres. 

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door. Students are free.
