Geoff Warner in Concert
Singer and songwriter Geoff Warner performs a mix of original songs and roots covers highlighting nature, love, sailing, dogs, birds, local and global problems and solutions and the island life of Deer Isle, often introducing or ending a song with a good story to add origan and dimension. Warner considers his performances to be a musical conversation with his audience. Brooksville United Methodist Church, 713 Coastal Rd. Admission by donation.
Family Nature Walk and Magic Food Bus
Join the Blue Hill Heritage Trust and Healthy Peninsula for a relaxed, family-friendly walk along the Meadow Brook Mill Stream trail in Brooksville. Healthy Peninsula’s Magic Food Bus will also be there, which is a seasonal, traveling farm stand and mobile library that offers free, fresh local produce, books, and information about food security resources.
Registration is not required. The Meadow Brook Mill Stream trail has increased accessibility features which make it appropriate for wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers. All are welcome!
Curtis Brand Concert
Curtis Brand, singer, guitarist and song writer will perform at the Brooksville United Methodist Church, 713 Coastal Rd. His songs tell stories about life as he sees it all around him will delight audiences of all ages
Palaver Strings at David’s Folly Farm: Benefit for Bagaduce Music
Bagaduce Music’s premier fundraiser of the year brings Grammy-nominated ensemble Palaver Strings to David’s Folly Farm in Brooksville for an intimate acoustic evening of live chamber music, food, and community. The program, Serenades, spans genres, eras, and styles, with works by Carlos Simon, Maurice Ravel, Laurie Anderson, J.S. Bach, Josef Suk, and Glenn Miller, performed by Palaver’s musician-led string ensemble. Guests are invited to arrive early for an elegant reception featuring artisanal charcuterie, local oysters, Tinder Hearth wood-fired pizzas and salads, and an assortment of wines, followed by a 7:00 p.m. concert celebrating Bagaduce Music’s mission to make music accessible along Maine’s coastline. Ticket options range from concert-only seating to packages that include food, drink, and sponsorship-level table seating, with all proceeds supporting Bagaduce Music’s education and community programs; ticket and sponsorship details are available at bagaducemusic.org or by contacting Kristen at kristen@bagaducemusic.org or 207-374-5454.

Brooksville Community Center Lobster Bake
Nothing says summer in Maine quite like a lobster dinner with friends and neighbors! Join us at the Brooksville Community Center for a traditional Maine Lobster Feed featuring fresh lobster, classic sides, and great company. Burger dinners are available as well! This is a wonderful opportunity to gather with the community, enjoy a delicious meal, and support a great local cause.
Hymn Sing
West Brooksville Congregational Church will host a community hymn sing in the church sanctuary at 1597 Coastal Road as part of its year-long celebration of the congregation's 200th anniversary. Refreshments will follow in the church vestry. Participants will be invited to choose hymns from the church's hymnals or share favorite hymns from other traditions in an informal, participant-driven program. Brooksville Community Center Breakfast!

Benefit Concert for the Outreach Ministry of the Brooksville United Methodist Church, with all donations being distributed for local needs including the Tree of life food Pantry and the Steeple Fund for the Reversing Falls Sanctuary. Reversing Falls Sanctuary Summer Solstice
Reversing Falls Sanctuary will host a Summer Solstice gathering on Sunday, June 21 at 4 p.m. inviting participants to celebrate the sun and the start of summer with poetry, song, fire, and time in nature. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared to express gratitude for Mother Earth and reflect on the beauty of the season during this communal, spiritually oriented event.
Finding Our Voices Retreat
Finding Our Voices will host Healing Together, a low-cost, all‑day retreat for women domestic abuse survivors on Saturday, July 11 in Brooksville. The day includes a felting workshop with ArtWaves founder Liz Cutler, yoga and breathing with Yael Calhoun, a nature‑journaling session, time to hike and swim, and a personal safety and boundaries workshop with SETPoint’s Lisa Nakamura, plus a potluck lunch and time for connection. Join Reversing Falls Sanctuary on April 12 at 2 PM for the final offering in their Winter/Spring Refugia series, where they will host a lineup of local mutual aid organizations for a panel presentation, including Acadia Action, Brooklin Food Corps, and Healthy Peninsula.
